Hello

to the likes of others i cant speak for all nor will aim at that but
just to help you out a bit on communicating with your subject.

first of all just as has been noted, the political situation hinders
and limits a lot if not totally the activities of the lug and
individuals. at the same time there have been a bit of changes where
for example LLUG mailling list is being shutdown (due to inactivity
and overlaps, unless it already
has) and key members of leglug are engaged with other private ongoing
projects and work in the country and abroad.

what you have proposed was has been on some peoples agenda since over
a year but most of things have been shelved due to the instability in
the country. but never give up! try try and try again, now is your turn
 ;)

in short, you want to coordinate and correspond some projects right?
well start by making a list of the projects and tasks and define what
are the exact resources that you require (basic project management)
post the openings and make it sound sexy and hopefully people will
 jump on the wagon.

you mentioned a couple of projects but the message wasnt clear as what
you were aiming for, was it so that you wanted to hire a person part
time to work on various project or a single project or which way did
it go? cause if you just want to hire, well there are lots of CVs of
graduates who are looking for any job just to get started with their
couriers. the linuxlb info mailbox has lots of contacts which if
others concur with, i could forward to you.

rootspace, is that a private company or a project? in either case,
please profile it and describe it to people to better understand whom
they are addressing and what it is all about. so in general be more
specific on describing what rootspace is and that would ease things up
 ;)

btw, regarding your online radio, years ago i ran an online radio
channel (mp3 streams) for the company i worked for, its very simple to
run, the technical part is easy as long as you have enough bandwidth
and a relay server, you can queue up the programs just as you queue up
stuff on xmms or winamp that you use (actually you would be using
either of those ;) ) and just play, your bigger challenge is to
assemble the media team who would work on the broadcast content
production. i havent had the time to look deeper into what the
campcast provides that makes it so special but if you want to talk
more about that then just ask ;)

as for a spinoff thought! :), are there any volunteers willing to
attend tape the whatever events relating to development and opensource
in the country and convert them to podcasts? we could consider putting
it up on www.linux.com.lb since its a general none lug specific
content :) let me know if someone is interested.

well im starting to get of track here so i better stop :D

 regards
 BashLogic
