Hey guys,

Followers of some OS blogs probably knew about this already, but for others,

I faced the same problem a while ago with one data format and Aaron makes an
excellent point to support open formats. I learned that lesson the hard way
a while back and since then, i am a huge advocate of that.

There a lot of stories floating around to use as an example when trying to
convince different organizations to use free software or at least standard
and open formats.
