[leglug-users] Thanks for Ubuntu cd

Thanks Alaa for the Feisty cd from the meeting.

I checked it out since i got it off of you and as soon as my
Kubuntu edgy finally crashed it was happily replaced by it.
I'm discovering Gnome now and am developing a liking for it too.

Could you give a brief insight on what Miguel shared with you about Gnome
that caused the turning point from KDE,. I know it has been a while but it
would be interesting to know!

Also if anybody can recommend how to build Linux servers knowledge and
experience
for someone that is new to the field and has no workspace/lab and limited
financial
resources to setup his own.I can volunteer some hours but it's hard finding
someone willing to
risk it with a newbie. I have accumulated enough Linux knowledge not to feel
extremely alienated within
discussions and have developed familiarity with the shell, plus the
obsession of course.
All ideas will be helpful.
