I disagree!
such topics are not of topic! ;)
personally the first contact with a "Computer" was the amstrad back in
84-85, (prior to that i had consoles such as atari :) ) the amstrad
was nice simple and fun to use and i really liked the rubber buttons!
but to the likes to many other systems, i hated that it took ages to
load of the tape ;) ( i mean the games ;) )
in 86 i began using commodore 64 which i used for many years.
i began programming with the commodore and did all sorts of programs
up untill a point that it was i and another school mate who were
running the school lab and not the teacher :) he only knew PCs and C
language :) so a little exchange then and there was fun!
unfortunatelly at the end of the 90s i stopped programming because i
developed a nausea and vommiting reaction cause of spending most of my
time on the station, so i had to quit at that point.
i didnt do stuff untill i got my hands on a 486 in the early ninties,
so it was back to the basic ;)
later i gave up on programming and concentrated on other fields in IT.
regards
BL
