This is true

a similar concept of analyzing crashdumps and hooking achieves the
same, some even mirror the ram to get a snapshot of it, anyhow not a
simple thing. as you described, what you mentiened can be done with
ease. as long as you know how to handle memory pages and stuff and how
to read live hexa codes ;)

but what about giving us an example on how it serves you in legitimate cases :)
