Practically speaking a pen scanner is just like a normal flat bed
scanner, only its scans an image the size of an average printer text
character, say 5 mm in height, and you move your hand to trace a line
after the other.
Other than that, its just like a flat bed scanner. So the real
question is, is there any text recognition software for Linux. If
there is such a thing for normal flat bed scanners, i dont see why not
for pen scanners as well.
