Just wondering if anyone bought something similar to this::

To use it as a scanner, I'm sure there are drivers for scanner
software on Linux, but I'm more interested in the text recognition
features. Not sure if there is something for that on Linux, not
neccessarily  that model exactly, just any pen scanner with text
recognition capable software.

Any suggestions appreciated.
