[leglug-users] Live Video streaming, and a Sylpheed-claws issue

Hi,
I just installed Sylpheed-claws. version 2.0.0

I was a mozilla-thunderbird user before, but I am really happy with
sylpheed-claws now, its light and has all the features i need.
Only one thing, it keeps fetching Email that is already fetched, for
three email accounts. I have the correct date and timezone set. Any
idea how i can fix this?

Another issue is streaming media content on many sites, for example
http://www.lightreading.com/section.asp?section_id=228,229,230,231,232,274,331&section_name=Light+Reading+TV
It needs a Windows Media Player, but there is no version for linux,
anyone knows a way around this ? maybe some extension for firefox to
take care of all media content ?

Any gaim users ? i just installed the festival plug in, anything
received  in the IM window, is spoken out loud. Text to speech could
have much better uses, but this is very usefull for me. I dont have to
change stop what im doing just to check who's talking to me.
